The room control and monitoring provides a state of the art touch based switching system which can be customised according to the requirements of the room. These controls include the door locks, room access card power on systems, light switches, AC controls, electronic safes and various sensors which allow the hotel to manage and save energy. Access to the rooms can be defined so that a limited set of services will be available to the hotel staff while the full range of services will be available to the guest. Service stations will be updated with the status of each room and notifications can be automated for services such as Do Not Disturb, Make Up Room and Room Service. This helps the hotel staff provide an effective and efficient service to their guests.
